Default free web monitoring every 30 minutes

As the user of www.serviceuptime.com I got their newsletter today saying that all free services are monitored every 30 minutes now. Those who need free monitoring may consider this one as I think it is very reliable and have many cool features.

Over the years, I've found these 3rd party web hosting monitors to be non-effective as they often go down themselves and are no where near accurate. On top of that, most web hosting companies go by their own statistics. If you want to know the uptime of your server, ask your web host!

I would have to agree with the majority here. 3rd party monitors are useless.

Is there anyway you can monitor uptime via Cpanel?

You would most likely have to get a custom script made for that to happen.
