Help me with my firewall

My firewall that comes with my windows xp slows down my computer. What will be a better one firewall I can download and use for free?

im not sure about free, but try going to download.com and see what's available.
Norton's firewall is pretty good.

I will suggest you to try to find why it's the windows firewall affecting your computer performance. I don't think it is from the xp firewall, check first the antivirus
