i currently use ixwebhosting and they seem to do a good job, but I'm looking for a company that can do VPS, any suggestions ?

Yeah I think small companies are best if you want that personal attention. I did try the small but I needed 24x7 support since I work during the day. I currently use Lunarpages and they seem to work out really well.
