Default Registerfly.com

I registered 2 .ca domains 7 days ago and when i do a whois on it it still says its available. I sent them 3 support tickets ( which they say that their they answer within 3-4 hours ) and still nothing after 3 days. I called them and was on the phone for 1 hour before i decided to hang up.

I cant believe how bad of a registar this is... for .ca domains anyway. Now i dont know if i should try to register the domain through another .ca or if i should keep waiting .

Hi Mike,

I have had problems with RegisterFly in the past as well. There support is almost non-existant.

I now reccommend namecheap.com . I actually had to contact them about 11:30pm CST last night, and I had a response by midnight. I then replied to that message, and had another reply by 12:45.

I have 17 domains with them now, and will be transferring domains I have with godaddy to them soon.

i do agree with you that namecheap is the best.... The only reason why i did not go with namecheap is because they dont register .ca domains.

All my .com domains are with namecheap but since i needed two .ca domains i decided to go with registerfly since ive heard of them before.

Anyway i hope everything turns out good so i can transfer the domains to someone else.

I too have had problems with Registerfly, specifically all DNS settings for my domains were lost one day. I now use namecheap for everything.

Sounds exactly like my experiance trying to buy an SSL cert from them. If you go to another registrar, do they show the domain names available for purchase? If so you should buy them someplace else and snag them.
